The spirits will form the basis of an RPG element within the game - you'll be able to equip those of nonplayable characters ranging from Mega Man nemesis Dr. It seems like you'll have to restore corrupted characters in the adventure mode. The impressive cinematic trailer even prompted comparisons to the catastrophic events seen at the end of Avengers: Infinity War. We got the first details about World of Light (this game's adventure mode) where all the characters transformed into spirits and Kirby, the only survivor, must restore them by traveling around a map and battling their shadow forms. Kirby is the last survivor in World of Light. He uses pro wrestling moves and his Final Smash is Max Malicious Moonsault, based on his Z-Move from the Pokemon games. Incineroar is a Fire/Dark type Pokemon and the final evolved form of Litten, one of the three starters from Pokemon Sun, Moon, Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon.
His two Final Smash moves are the fiery spinning uppercut Shinryuken and the close quarters Shippu Jinraikyaku combo. He'll be a slightly faster character than Ryu and has a different shaped Hadoken.

Ken is based on his Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo incarnation and will be an echo fighter for Ryu, meaning he'll be essentially the same with a different appearance and animations, series creator Masahiro Sakurai said in Thursday's Nintendo Direct livestream. Nintendo announced that Ken from Street Fighter and Incineroar from Pokemon are the final characters in Super Smash Bros.
